The Chandrayaan-2 was supposed to leave the Earth behind in the morning on 15th of July, but due to a technical snag still waiting to be discovered by a high-level committee, the launch needed to be re-scheduled.
When the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-Mark III (GSLV-Mk III) rocket was about to fly, the team dealing with the launch noticed something wrong and stopped it.
According to what a top officer of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) told Financial Express Online, the date when the next launch will take place remains unknown because the process of analysis takes a while and it is so severe it can’t be done in a rush. The team dealing with it is made out of people who are used to finding potential problems so everything will be alright.

In addition to that, there was a rumor saying that the Chandrayaan -2 will launch later this month, but he said it was false. There is so much that that needs to be studied that two weeks are not enough to get everything done.
The rocket was ready to start its mission, which means that it was fully loaded with fuel. Because it will be a while until another launch day is decided, the team decided to take all the fuel out of the rocket.
According to the officer, the rocket needs to be thoroughly investigated until a specific date is set for its launch. Depending on the weather conditions and the amount of time it takes for the team to study the issue, a launch window could be discussed. The moon’s position could also influence this decision because the landing will take place there, and it also affects the movement of the rocket.
