Indian Study Investigates Potential Link Between Covid Vaccines and Cardiac Arrests

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is conducting an in-depth investigation into potential links between sudden cardiac arrests, including heart attacks, and the country’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout. The study, which is being conducted with the assistance of cardiologists and other experts from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), aims to examine cases of cardiac arrests and gather data associated with the deceased by using a “verbal autopsy” method.

The ICMR is looking into any possible correlation between these cases and the mass vaccination of Indian citizens, particularly in regards to the mRNA vaccines, which are known to cause rare side effects such as myocarditis, a cardiovascular-related condition. Some suggest that the rise in cardiac arrests could be due to other factors, such as postponed medical visits, poor diets, increased stress caused by the pandemic, or other background factors.

In order to determine what is causing the sudden increase in cardiac arrests, the Indian government is conducting a thorough investigation. Durgesh Nandan Jah of the Times of India recently reported on the imminent study.

The investigation comes amidst a flurry of reports of a potential cover-up of the side effects of some of the world’s COVID-19 vaccines.
