£22 Bread Said to Be the Healthiest, But Why Exactly?
‘Legendary’ Happy Tummy Loaf is a favorite of celebs like Goldie Hawn and Gwyneth Paltrow, but it comes with a hefty price tag. But why is it so exceptional? The bread supposedly has 10 times the amount of beneficial fat found in regular bread, as well as being lower in sugar and salt and rich in fiber. If you’re still not convinced, don’t worry; researchers aren’t, too. So, we’ve searched for some more proof of why this ‘legendary’ £22 bread is so special.

Artisan baker Karen O’Donoghue claims that the bread’s capacity to alleviate symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is due to the fact that it comprises 15 components, including walnuts, almonds, and linseed. Ingredients include buckwheat flour, teff flour (a kind of grass seed), ground linseed, ground cinnamon, lemon juice, chia seeds, apple cider vinegar, and ground nuts. Indeed, it has a greater quantity than a standard loaf.
However, experts note that there are less expensive alternatives to achieve the same results, such as simply consuming nuts and seeds.
£22 seems to be a little bit on the expensive side; there are much cheaper ways to get this much fiber. It includes a lot of fat from nuts and seeds, having much more fat and fewer carbohydrates than other breads, said Professor Gunter Kuhnle, an expert in nutrition and food science at the University of Reading.
Would you consider giving this legendary bread a try? What’s your favorite bread and why?
The nuts, seeds, and grain kinds soak and sprout before (baking) so that they reach your stomach ready to digest and deliver optimal nutrients, the company claims on its website. This process can take up to two days, which, of course, compared to other products, does make a difference. Almonds, walnuts, and Brazil nuts provide healthful fats to the Happy Tummy Loaf, too. However, the best aspect is that it has fewer calories and less sugar than both brown and white loaves, which cost less. Really remarkable, huh?
